The Dark Side of DramSoc

As well as DramSoc's own productions, our crew also provide technical support for other events in College, from large cultural events such as "International Night" and "East Meets West," through the end of term events in the Union, to the Summer Ball. This can range from simply providing advice for organisers, to running a show in its entirety. We are busy all year round with this work, and always looking for new crew members, whatever your experience or skill level.

The technical side of DramSoc is run as a mini, non profit making hire "business", although our rates are much less than the likes of Stage Electrics. The proceeds from events are spent on maintaining our kit, and buying new and improved equipment. We like to think we are the best kitted out student drama society in the country (but if you know better, then let us know).

  • EM Acoustic PA system, variable in size from 1 speaker, upto full 7kW
